A Rancher's Promise by Marie Rochelle is the March 15th release from Phaze books that all about Amerie and Kyle. And what a fun and tremulous ride it was. Stuart drops her off out of the blue at Kyles ranch and it looks like Stuart has some serious issues that need to be dealt with. Thing is that Amerie and Stuart aren't talking to Kyle and letting him know the big picture which just down right pisses him off. Already a grumpy guy his attitude towards her is horrific. Nasty, rude and pretty much tells her to get off his property and out of his life.

Truth is that he is so attracted to her that he can hardly breath and with his ego getting in the way, he desperately yearns for her, desires her with a fierce longing that a man desires a woman. His mate, his one for the rest of this life.

Amerie has fled a violent life only to leave her beloved mother behind with a monster. Knowing she had to get out before she sunk deeper into the monsters clutches, an evil man that knew no mercy.

Each day, no matter Kyle's venomous words and threats to kick Amerie off his land he comes closer to letting her in his heart. There is something about her that calls to him. She is a good person, despite the fact that she isn't ready to tell him what mess Stuart has gotten himself into. Each day they both lay down their barriers and open up to each other until the air crackles with such electricity and heat that they both can no longer deny the underlying passion that has bubbled over like an over active volcano.

Hot, hot, hot love scenes that will steam your windows and two fascinating characters who not only fall into bed, but fall in love, deep and fast. But the connection between the two is so dynamic that you can't help but be swept away on their journey with them. But danger is on it's way to their front door and is ready to pound down the door.
