Tropic of Trouble by Wynter Daniels

TROPIC OF TROUBLE by Wynter Daniels was I don't know... hot, sexy, suspenseful, intriguing and sinfully wicked at times, a perfect combination for anyone who is looking for the perfect guilty pleasure in their reading material.

Kelsey isn't about to let the pushy Jason bulldoze himself into her life, into her bed, well that is another story. Kelsey, although not really willing to admit it to herself needs Jason desperately. Not just for protection from the person who is after her and ready to kill for the rare historical book she has, but he is exactly the type of man she needs in her life.

She is over the pushy alpha male especially with a overbearing dad and ex Jason is just way too much at times for her. But off and on Kelsey was a little hostile with Jason when he got too close. The reason though was because really she was falling for him and not matter her denial and resistance he was working his way into her heart.

Jason on the other hand had the patience of a saint with Kelsey. It does take her a while to get pass her own insecurities, and without that she will never be able to fully let Jason into her heart. They were a perfect pair in my book, complimenting each other along the way as they tried to figure out who and why someone was after Kelsey and the rare book she is now hiding. The sexual tension crackles through the air with such sensuality and intimacy.

When Kelsey Ackerman ‘s assistant at her used bookstore is murdered, the police label it a botched robbery by a desperate drug addict. But Kelsey suspects the perpetrator was looking for a rare Shakespeare volume that someone unknowingly donated. Now a killer has set her sights on Kelsey.

Jail guard Jason Jones only wants to protect her, but after suffering a controlling father and an abusive ex-husband, Kelsey wants nothing to do with the domineering sergeant. Until the danger becomes crystal clear and the man she can’t resist is the only one who can save her.

About Me

My Photo
Brande
I am a working mom with an addiction to coffee, chocolate, and books.. I read an average 3 to 4 books a week to escape reality. I have setup this site to organize my own thoughts and help others when choosing what to read. Since I can be a dimwit at times I decided to keep a record of the books I read. This record turned into reviews so I would remember if I liked the book I forgot I had read. I am not particularily funny and my grammer sucks so please don’t expect much. Basically I don’t know jack about many things, but I do know what I like in a novel and what makes me want to spend my money on an author.
