This story takes off right after book one, Chelsea and Braden are living in Alexa's house while she and her mates are on their honeymoon. In the meantime Jamie has arrived to help Alexa catalog all the artifacts in her home that was left in the home when her Grandmother left. Close courters isn't what Braden needs right now, he has been fighting tooth and nail his lust, his passion and his heart of Chelsea. He knows that he can't hold her back from following her dreams. And those dreams are to leave Jaffrey's Cove and go to college.
Chelsea on the other hand has had it, Braden doesn't want her to be with any other man but he pushes her away like she has a disease. But Jamie has arrived and Chelsea can't resist him, something about him is pulling him to her with such a magnetic pull that neither Braden or Chelsea can understand.
Branden is pure alpha, no doubt about it and a little hard around the edges kind of sexy, giving into Chelsea he knows in his heart that she is his mate. Then his attraction to Jamie doesn't startle him, he isn't gay, but he knows that female Dolphin shifters eventually take on two mates, so he opens himself to Jamie.
What a fantastic story, when Braden finally got it through his thick skull that Chelsea was his one and finally let his guards down I felt like cheering out loud. It was fun watching him struggle to overcome what he wants..... Chelsea!

Their bond was so passionate and pure that you can't help but wish them all the happiness in the world. Adding Jamie to the mix was the cherry on top for me. He was a simple guy, a good man who knew what he wanted in life, despite what his family thought was best for him. Also him accepting Braden as a lover as well, he handled it with open eyes and an open heart as his love grew for Chelsea and Braden. Thing is, he's human so the mystery is how is it possible that he can be their mate, then there's telling Jamie the truth about who and what they are.
