Watching time pass slowly while you wait in the depths of hell, an incubus no more, Charun has bargained with Jacob to become a Familiar, his fated destiny awaits him. Jacob grants Charun a vision of his mate, a teaser if you will, and it is just that was Charun's body vibrates with the need to claim her. But there are a few fine print details to claiming his witch Tina he must one, give up being a Incubus and become a Familiar and wait for his fated mate. Two, must wait until she is 21 and take her as a virgin or he will not have her at all. Three, must tell her she is a witch, help her with her powers and together they will have to defeat Lucifer and his demons in taking over the mortal realm. Small potatoes wouldn't you say!
But Charun does just that, but through out his wait he has been sneaking up to the mortal realm every now and then, living as a Mortal and even once Tina is born, spying on her and making sure that another man hasn't gotten too close to her until she is ready for him. And what a shock it is for her. She thought this desire, this passionate and sexy man was in her dreams, she is stunned to find out that he is real. Much less her mate and she is a which.
That is a lot for one girl to handle, but Tina does it with grace and humor. The lust and eagerness that Charun has been holding up for these hundreds of years has taken a toll on him and he will stop at nothing to have his witch by his side.
Thing is that Lucifer's demon's know that if they destroy a Familiar's witch the Familiar can't live without her. Thus destroying the Familiar as well. So together they must fight the demons for their love, for their lives and the lives of the entire mortal realm.
A Quick read frankly because it was so engrossing, I flipped through the pages just dying to know how Tina was going to handle Charun to begin with and her being a witch. Tina was no slouch, she proved to be strong and sassy, as well as vulnerable at times which made her so endearing to me. Oh, and those deliciously hot sex scenes alone, I am still fanning myself!
This is one smokin' hot read that will make you a fan for life!
