I just finished this book in the wee hours this morning. And let me tell you it was fantastic! If you love those kick ass heroines with one heck of a heart, there are so many factor's to Max that made me love her and cheer her on in Diana P. Francis's first book in the Horngate Witches Series. And what a powerhouse, this ain't your mama's Urban Fantasy. This one, your gonna want to get! And you have a chance to win since I have one copy of for grabs! Ages ago, the Guardians of the earth created an army of creatures—faeries, banshee, chimeras, oni, lamia, kelpies, angels…the Uncanny and Divine things that populate myth and legends that most humans suppose never really existed.
