Review: Rules of Desire by Leah Brooke

FINALLY......I have been waiting for Erin's story from Leah Brooke for what felt like eons. Ok, perhaps a slight exaggeration on my part....but it felt that long! I am a super fan of Leah's and have read most of her work with Desire, Oklahoma Series being one of my favorites. I have to say that book one in the series Desire For Three. That was the first book that ever made me cry and pretty hard at that. But now we are talking about book 4 in the series, RULES OF DESIRE. This is the story of Erin Robinson (sister to Rachel in Book #3), Jared, Duncan and Reese Preston with a little mystery and A LOT of smokin hot sex. Three brothers in Desire, OK have claimed Erin, the problem, she doesn't know it, well she thinks she has been avoiding them like the plague, but really they have had their eye on her the entire time. So at the Christmas party they make their move and inform Erin that she is claimed, she is wanton and almost giddy. But that isn't normal behavior for the tough as nails woman, nope she is out of control drunk. Or so the brother's believe. She has been drugged and that is just the beginning of trouble for Erin. Someone wants her out of the way and far far away from Desire and the Preston brothers. Through a few more dangerous close calls and like I said lots and lots of lovin Erin finds her way. The road is rough since Erin believes with all her heart that there will be no real happiness in a lifelong menage relationship. She is fearful for Rachel her sister that her relationship with her two husbands will eventually be doomed as well. It was a fun romp for me as a reader to watch the love grow and also the respect with the Preston's. Despite Erin's fear of jealously amongst the brothers she experiences only happiness and a lot of personal attention. I did like how the drama of the stories's "who done it" was intertwined and didn't take over the romance, a very good flow and kept the pages turning one after the other!
