Review...THE WICKED WEST by Victoria Dahl

In this fab book by Victoria Dahl is one of my new favorites. It was short (95 pages on my e-reader) and didn't stall in getting to point. In reading The Wicked West, I adored the two main characters starting with the little prim and oh so proper (or so you think) British Lilly Anders and the rough Sheriff Hale. The chemistry was instant and could light your panties on fire.... seriously it was toe curling and unexpected. The good Sheriff has a secret, not just that his wife left him some years ago, the whole town knows that! But that he has a particular sexual preference that he believes is such a wicked and shameful part of him that he truly believes that he is somehow evil. Lilly comes to town upon her brother's passing, in which he leaves her his house. Her husband was an older man who thought her how to be submissive to him, a lifestyle in which she craves. There is a perfect balance between Lilly and Hale as she teases him from her bedroom window each night, knowing full well what she is doing and what kind of reaction it is stirring in the Sheriff. I just loved how vulnerable this big strong man was, he thought his desires were something to be ashamed of and in finding that Lilly craves this bond as he does, their relationship grows beautifully together while they both learn a few lesson about who they really are in the meantime. I think that this is a definite read for those looking for something hot, sweet and oh so sizzling. Because it does sizzle, the bedroom scenes are beyond hot and you will just fall in love with sweet Lilly and her strong but oh so lovable Sheriff Hale.
